COVERAGE HIGHLIGHTS AND BUSINESS CLASS DEFINITIONS

Professional Liability for Off-Duty Law Enforcement Officers.  The coverage is designed to provide protection for law enforcement personnel while performing off-duty activities.  The insurance will provide coverage against allegations of negligence, misrepresentation, violation of good faith, property damage, assault, battery, and false arrest/detainment.

Risk Management Consultants.  An individual or firm who advises organizations and individuals on risk assessment and develops plans to help minimize their exposure to loss.

Close Security Services.  Security and/or risk mitigation services taken to ensure the safety of VIPs and other individuals who may be exposed to an elevated personal risk because of their employment or high-profile status.

Close Protection Officer.  Individual who performs the Close Security Services articulated in the definition above.

Close Protection Training Services.  An individual or firm who teaches advises/teaches others on security measures, risk mitigation, and other techniques designed to ensure the safety of high-profile persons.

Managed Security Services.  Offers outsourced monitoring and management of security devices and systems.  Common services include managed firewall, intrusion detection, virtual private network, vulnerability scanning and anti-viral support.
